We like traveling to new places when we can.  My parents sent us to Kauai for our honeymoon and that stoked a traveling bug in both of us. Over the years Deanna and I have been lucky enough to to travel around a bit.

a very big cave on the north side of Kauai

We love San Diego but we could do without LA (no offence intended).

The San Francisco area was nice. In the San Jose area I especially liked the Winchester Mansion (what a weird house) definitely recommend it though http://www.winchestermysteryhouse.com/ .  Sacramento is ok and the Red Woods were amazing.

Casa Madrona in Sausalito ( north side of the Golden Gate)

The Pomona Car Show....this is the coolest car show I have ever been to. Too many pictures to show here.

Do you remember the movie "Goonies"? The Oregon town it was filmed in was Astoria, right on the coast.  We stayed in that area for about 4 days and it was beautiful. I want to go back this spring (2007).

We visited Seattle, Washington a couple of times and loved it too.  The surrounding areas are gorgeous especially Victoria Canada.  One of our favorite places close to home is the Durango and Silverton Colorado area. Lots of fishing, 4x4 roads and camping. If you are not into camping out,  you can stay at the Purgatory Resort and do day trips.

The Blazer (before the Blue Paint job) on the road to Clear Lake   under an ice flow   Was trying to be funny and just barely escaped a bath....LOL

We saw a little of Kansas and Oklahoma but it is just too FLAT.  Texas was a little better but I still missed home.  I spent some time in Biloxi, Mississippi in the Air Force and was able to hop over to New Orleans, Louisiana for Mardi Gras.  That was 1986...WOW...what a party but once was enough for me.

Deanna and I were able to see some of New York state, not the the city, Niagara Falls, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.  Boston was the absolute, hands down, craziest place I have ever had to drive! After a night in Boston we decided to head out earlier than planned for Cape Cod,  what a difference. Cape Cod, the islands of Martha's Vineyards and Nantucket are fantastic.  We went back a couple more times, watch out for  P-town though :).  We were planning a trip to Europe but my daughter put that on hold for awhile. Our Europe fund became a start to Raegan's College fund. Deanna wants Paris and I want New Zealand....patience....just a little more patience.;)

a very gloomy day at Niagara  Falls, 1996,  but it was fun

Remember the Sit-com from the late 80's "Wings"?  This is the control tower that was in the opening of each show.....I loved that show.

We like camping and riding our quads.  We spend time in the Glamis Sand Dunes of Southern Cal and the Corral Pink Sand Dunes of Southern Utah. or in the woods around home but we really enjoy Durango and Silverton Colorado.

Us and our dirt bikes in the Flagstaff area    Two of our friends that got us hooked on Quads...We sold the bikes shortly after this photo and  bought Quads.

I did a little Sky Diving as well.  I forget the name of the place but it was in-between Phoenix and Tucson

June of 2006 a buddy and I hopped on Amtrak in Flagstaff and rode it to Chicago.  We went to see the King Tut exhibit in the Chicago Field Museum, since we heard it may NEVER come back to the US.  The exhibit was like nothing I will ever see again.  No cameras were aloud so it is up to the gray matter to remember.  We stayed down town Chicago just a couple of blocks from the Sears tower.  I have to take Deanna and the baby back to see Chicago.

We both grew up hunting with our dads but neither one of us are into it much anymore.

We do still enjoy shooting though. Rifles and pistols of all kinds.  The best day I was able to spend,  was about 2004 when a former flight student of mine, who is also the local Federal class 3 weapons dealer, invited me out.  He was taking some clients out for demo's. I was able to shoot 10 different FULLY automatic weapons ranging from WWII to present.

Oh yea!! that was so much fun.  Got video on that one.....

In October 2006 Deanna and I were given a race day as a gift.  We went to the Las Vegas International Race Way and had a BLAST!!  We were able to ride in an actual race car.  160mph around the track.....it was GREAT!!

In May 2007 we went back to Cannon Beach Oregon.  This time we took my brother Steve and family along.  As luck would have it we were able to rent a house just off the beach....what a view!

The very big rock outside the window is Hay Stack Rock.  In the pictures below with me and Steve, check out the Star Fish.

We went to another nearby beach while we were there and had a lot of fun flying kites.

Dec. 22, 2007

Raegan and Gracie's first ice skating experience.  I think Deanna and Merilee had more fun than the girls.

For the first time that I can remember in 20 years, we finally had Christmas at our house here in Flagstaff.  Normally it was Bullhead City, Kingman, Williams or Phoenix.  Wow....not traveling all over the place for Christmas....what a concept.

My little niece Lilianna.  Born July 25th 2007 My elusive brother Raymond finally makes an appearance on my website.

Hamin it up again....where does she get that???

Steve is on his tip toes because in his words....Greg's not that tall!....He has boots on!

Ok little brother....happy now!?

Raymond and Mindy in front with Jackson and Lilianna and by the way...Steve! take a pill man and get off your tip toes!

When your tired just find any old spot....

Gabriel, Raegan, Lilianna and Gracie

It really stinks when you have to ride your first bike in the dinning room because it is snowing outside.
