In March 2008 we enjoyed the Queen Mary docked in the Long Beach, CA  area.

This ship is, to this day, the largest luxury liner shill floating. If you get a chance it is a must see.

We stayed two nights on the ship and it was great.

We stayed in one of the previous "First Class"  2 room suites.  The main room was for the guests and the smaller second room was usually for their servant. Back in the day, these suites cost as much as a brand new car.  As I lay there the first night I wandered, which super rich person had paid the exorbitant amount to travel in the same room where I, some 70 years later, would rest my head.

Lets not forget the stories of how haunted the ship is!! LOL

  The forward lounge is an Art Deco lovers dream.

At the bottom of the ship is an old Russian Sub.  We loved walking through it but I could never imagine what it must have been like stuck in that tiny sub for months.....no way!

Summer 2008....My Air Force buddy Gus , his son JR and his mom (she is the lady I bought my Dodge Charger from).  They all came from Sacramento for a visit and we decided to go out in one of the Limo's....

      We stayed at the Big Sky Ski Resort....it was great     

We also made the trip to Yellow Stone Park.....that place is huge and we needed another day or two to see it all.

December 3rd 2008    Ozzy and Sharon Osborne with my driver Brandon at the Grand Canyon Airport.  They arrived in a private jet and Brandon was able to spend a few hours with them.  He said they were both very nice folks, Ozzy did most of the talking and was totally cool.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

              My dad and I went to Phoenix and bought a race car!!  I guess it is time to ROCK!! at the Speed World Track in Surprise Arizona....  The car is set up and ready to run!!  It does 10.3 seconds in the quarter mile.....  BIG GRIN ;)   lol .......  Now that is what I call "Father Son bonding!!"  More pictures of the out side coming soon.
